Varanasi Travel Story | Maxine & Sachin

Year 2020 kickstarted on an incredible note for us. Maxine & Sachin flew down from Canada on a short break to India. Whilst Sachin has been here before, it was Maxine’s first time. We were asked to do a session with them whilst they travelled to Varanasi. Our first reaction: OMG! A Wedding Photographer (www.sachinkhona.com), who inspired us to become photographers is asking us to photograph him. Not kidding. We were under pressure! Once we calmed down from that thought & the excitement started to kick in, we found out that Maxine (www.maxinebulloch.com) is an also an amazing photographer for impact driven businesses. Well, the jitters were back!

Have you heard of stories of a perfect couple, having similar goals, working towards building a strong life together? Well, we just got to meet one. Their experience with every little thing is life inspires you to step back, take a pause, observe and be grateful for everything you have. They both taught us how you can find happiness and contentment with simple moments in your life.

Every place in India has it’s own charm. It’s incredible to see how one country can offer you so many different experiences in so many different ways. Varanasi, the city of Ghats, will have a special place in our hearts. Right from the people, the streets, to the peaceful aarti at the Ganges, it’s now, all engrained in our minds.

Our experience with Maxine & Sachin in Varanasi was pure magic. We would walk down streets, exploring Varanasi, doing some photography together while taking some portraits.

The highlight of this trip was our early morning boat ride. That vision of the calm Ganges, the sun rising, covering the ghats with it’s golden light and the birds flying everywhere was a breathtaking sight.

This Varanasi pre-wedding session with Maxine and Sachin is going to be extremely close to us. Thank you guys for letting this be the best start to our 2020. It couldn’t have gotten any better.
