UK Indian Wedding | Nisha & Nilesh

Weddings in the UK excite us for a lot of reasons. Firstly, we love the summers there giving us the freedom to shoot late in the evenings. If you’re lucky, the sun will be out until 10pm on most days. The weddings are lot more organised and less chaotic. Everything is on schedule, the ceremonies being ‘unplugged’ and the couple’s being

Nisha & Nilesh’s Wedding was one such experience for us. Their Wedding took place in Coventry this year. Their Hindu ceremony was hosted at The Heart of England Conference and Events Centre . It’s a sweet venue with small log houses, vast acres of greenery and a lake amidst all this.

We did a pre-wedding shoot with them a few days prior to their wedding, at the Coventry Cathedral followed by Jephson Gardens that evening.

Their celebrations began with Nilesh’s Pithi that took place at his home in Coventry. The family was seen having a great time covering Nilesh with turmeric paste who in return didn’t miss the chance to smear it one everyone’s face.

Nisha & Nilesh’s wedding day began with both of them getting ready for the ceremony. Nisha looked gorgeous in a dark pink wedding outfit and her mum couldn’t hold back her tears when she saw her dressed, ready to walk down the aisle. Nilesh complimented her really well in his beige and red sherwani and entered in style on a horse to take his bride home. Everyone enthusiastically danced their way to the wedding mandap.

Throughout the wedding ceremony, Nisha & NIlesh were full of smiles and laughter. It was heart warming to witness them tying the knot to embark upon this journey of togetherness.

They hosted their Reception the same evening. We heard some crazy and funny stories from Nilesh’s brothers who had the entire room in fits of laughter. The night ended with everyone letting lose and partying away.

It was so much fun shooting with Nisha & Nilesh and documenting these moments for them.
